Hey, friends! I'm so tired this week, as I'm sure you can understand. I have piles upon piles of work to grade and do and I've been in and out of meetings all week, which means I haven't done it! But even with all the work and things on my to-do list, this week I am so grateful for a wonderful group of friends and a great administration here at the UNT English Department.

Last night, I was really blessed to spend some time with old friends from college at the Galbraith Lecture at UD. That was a nice break from the crazy.

I hope you enjoy the articles I've picked for you!

My Writing

Two years ago: Walking With Peter (Spiritual Uprising Blog): For the longest time, I have had a special relationship with Peter. Looking back on this, I realize it's been a while since I spent time with him. It's a good reminder.

Last week: Field Notes Mania: A Practical Collection (Popery, Pens, and Paperbacks): I wrote this article about my collection of field notes notebooks. If you haven't read it, check it out!

What I read this week:

Popery (Catholicism/Spirituality/Religion):

Social Justice:

Pens/Pencils/Stationery:

Paperbacks (Reading, Books, and Writing):

Movies and TV:

Life in General:

Tough and Awkward Topics:

  • Gypsy Caravans: A home Away From Home (Off Grid Quest): I FREAKING LOVE THESE THINGS. Oh my gosh, aren't they GORGEOUS!? Forgive the all caps, but I really am shouting.
